i just love greece so right away this gets the picture off to a great start lol, , such a well balanced piece tho and captures the appeal of the place beautifully, and taken from an angle that allows the eye to cross the frame with ease

Stone structures, dilapidated building with wood work offer very good photo opps.It is remarkable that they have kept the interiors upto the modern times without spoiling the exterior old world charm. Lovely shot. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Annie,

Beautiful house, however, I agree with one other reviewer about the sky, it's a little overexposed in my opinion. The building is very picturesque, gorgeous greenery and stone work - you captured it all beautifully!

Oh my gosh! I don't know what to say. This is breath taking. I love this architecture and you really captured its essence. Now I will read your notes. Ok, now I have read your notes. I am in love with the beautiful stone work in it. The colors are like a pastel rainbow made into a mosaic. I have discovered that one of my photographic passions really is architecture. I admit that beautiful architecture such as what you have captured has always intrigued me and that I have taken snapshots of it before, but now I really love it. Modern buildings don't really interest me. It is buildings like you have captured here that make my heart race. And to top it all off there is the beautiful foliage on the right. In addition there appears to be a gorgeous retaining wall in front of and to both sides of the house. When I was first in college, 1961 - a very long time ago, my dorm was right next to Frank Lloyd Wright's Robie House. I loved looking at that building but never had the opportunity to go inside, although we did study it in class. Our first year's Humanities class included a section on architecture as well as art. That got me into architecture and took me to Chicago, Illinois' Art Institute, which has a world class collection of art. I was from a small town in Michigan and had never seen anything like the art that I now could see regularly and study. I sometimes discover that I picked up and retained more than I thought. In that class we also studied classical music, poetry and the Classics, including Shakespeare. It was a very comprehensive class, but I'm so glad I had it. However, the exam for the course (only the final exam at the end of the year counted at that time) was about 5 hrs. long taken on two days. Ugh! I have certainly gotten side tracked, it happens often, but this gorgeous photo of a beautiful building made me think of the architecture class. I am so enjoying your photo series. It isn't as good as being there, but it sure is better than nothing. Thank you so much for posting this terrific photo.
