Guess this is what you call right in your face Willie!! What a sweet girl and she does look a bit ragged looking although the end result will be stunning! Nice crisp focus with great close up framing! Great eyes and feather detail!

Oh my goodness, I have never seen a bird this close! Wow, what a fantastic shot! To me she looks like she just came from the beauty shop with wet hair and did not let them blow it dry! That is interesting how you get the black background. Wish I had a big SIX to give you! This is really a spectacular capture!

So my initial thought was...what an ugly bird. Never would have guessed this one was a cardinal. Great close-up. Fantastic really. Love the detail and the clarity. Great storytelling ability and wonderful framing. The dark background suits it very well. Nicely done.
