Beautiful capture! Great initial impact and fabulous colors. I especially like the blue reflection of the ripples around the bird. Also a wonderful action shot.

The autumnal coloured ripples and bright blue ring of reflection make a lovely background frame.

Great stop-action shot. I like the reflection of all the Autumn colors in the water. You captured the heron nicely coming up with the fish. I think the stump really adds a nice touch to the image as well and nicely fills the lower-right 1/3. Good composition and use of space. Good lighting and colors. Image is well focused and shows good detail. Initial impact is very good. Nice job.

Great shot Willie. Isn't that the way it always happen with wildlife, you watch and watch nothing happens then you look away for just a second and you miss the shot. I think your camera focused on the stump because the Heron looks just a little soft. I think it could be sharpened some without hurting it just keep the radius around 1 and increase the amount using the lens blur selection. Dave
