Great shot Willie. This shot has a lot of great detail. The flash in the chick's eye really brings it to life. The only minor thing I would have done if I could have caught it was to try to get all of him in the frame, but as you said they are hard to catch a good shot of. Well done.

The sharp focus on the plumage is really great. The details really pop, giving us a view we would ordinarily never see. Amazing work resulting in a high quality image. Just super!

Initial Impact is Very Good
This is a very well focused closeup of a Black Capped Chickadee which itself is a statement as they are very quick birds they do not sit for more than a split second so this is something very special Thanks so very much for sharing Willie

Comments: Good picture of the Carolina Chickadee. The only thing I would have done differently is to capture the whole bird. I know that sometimes is impossible escpecially those that are very small and very quick. It has a great deal of detail that is crisp and clear. The DOF is great. The picture is composed well except for cutting off the birds tail and end of wings. Thanks for the good artist notes. Thank you for sharing

Very nice shot! The depth of field is perfect and I am in awe of how tack sharp the layers of feathers are. I have a devil of the time getting my photos sharp. This is indeed a hard subject to capture as they don't stay in one spot very long.
