Good catch. The cats eyes are perfectly focused though some of its whiskers have been sacrificed. Choices must be made with each and every photo and I agree with yours.

Fortunately, Willie has more birds than your cat can eat in a lifetime. The cat's eyes do look rather intense. The angle of the shot is really good. The focus is sharp. The picture is interesting.
