Beautiful! Thanks so much for this artwork that so perfectly matched my story.
The composition is beautiful, the colors working together perfectly, the mostly neutral/dark colors that allow the rose bouquet stand out so well. Mostly, however, I respond to the emotional impact of the work--they are both mermaids, different in that their coloring--the man's blond hair, the woman's dark, the woman's pale skin and dress standing out against the man's dark--contrast, but they are same height, suggesting an equality. I think these had to be deliberate choices.
Thank you again for sharing your work.
All the Best,
Stacia

This is nothing short of off the wall beautiful Cleo. Sorry the wedding job was canceled, but if you didn't/don't win the contest with this, I'd call in the Gendarmes. I cannot imagine that anyone would not want this as a photo of their wedding. Absolutely a wonderful job.

Thank you very much for your review and the high rating and of your fate in me of winning the contest. I am not so sure of kit. There are some other excellent entrees. Actually, I think shilows sunset wedding will make it.

Good work, and from my side nice metaphor for the canceled wedding, as to me... it seems like the groom ids losing his mermaid as she is starting to become foam ...
Good lock at the contest!

Before I read you caption "A fairytail wedding", I was actually thinking that. The photo looks like the two are drifting out to see to their own little "fairytale" world. You did a great job.

I love the feeling of abandonment in this painting! It makes me wish that I would have gotten married on the beach...from a distance this could be a photograph. The white lines on the horizon are a bit too choppy for the style/technique used in the rest of the painting. Very nice work.

Thank you very much, I appreciate your review and your input. It is not a painting; but a mixed media, a merge of photographs. The painted look is caused by the use of filters. The technique and way of work is described in my comments. Sorry for explaining in length, but a painting would not be acceptable for the contest it is posted in and would be disqualified.

Stunning work Cleo! The scene looks painted and the wedding dress extending into the wave is a fabulous idea! Outstanding work and techs! Love the mermaid effect you created here!
