well this was very nicely done, I love how you put them into water gives it a bit of a intimate feel to it, and the passion radiates off these two, i really like how it feels half calm and half stormy as most marriages will go through both, this is very nicely done

apart from this being a different wedding shot, which in itself would have been good, the treatment of the photo takes it to another level, well taken photo

I like it a LOT!! A memorable idea, andthe water adds a truly unique birt to the tired "wedding" theme! Very creative indeed! Your filters make this look like an old oil, painted many years ago. Super concept! Donkeyoatey

I nearly didn't open this as I thought it was a painting.Glad I did though.A wonderful interpretation with a good composition. I like the way the wave follows the line of her dress giving the effect of a train. On a personal note I find the brush work in the image a little clunky, but that's why I seldom review paintings;I don't know what I'm talking about only what I like. Mitch

Thank you very much. There is no brush work. The paint effect comes from some filters. I originally used the filters because it is an older photo and the people like to be anonymous; but I admit I like the outcome, even the chunkiness. Well I am a painter and probably have a different view on it.

This looks lovely and is a very well executed mixed media. This almost looks like a painting. The colors are great and the use of light is excellent. I like how the bride's dress mix together with the breaking wave. It is also a nice and sharp image. The red flowers is really a nice touch and it adds a lot of interest. The placement of the newly wed within the frame is perfect. It is a lovely composition with good balance and DOFF. Good luck with the contest.

Cool mixed media, I love the way you have presented this romance scene. Excellent composition, beautiful colors, great details, but most of all I love the lighting management here, so great. Thanks for sharing this beauty.

superb imagination and colour scheme. the red is outstanding, i have seen this old art trick in old paintings, when the artist has used a single splash of red and here it works to maximum effect. the dress merges perfectly with the incoming tide and the sea is a magnificent, deep shade of green. the dark colours, conveys enternal love for this couple. the body language of the newly weds suggest a solid bonding of mind, body and spirit.
