You are wonderfully creative when not drawing sports figures LOL I love this and the song runs through my head as well. We live with tons of dust and apparently their carnivores, dust mites. I didn't see any of them. LOL Thanks for sharing my friend and good luck in the contest. Cyn

oh my, how I used to love that song! very interesting portrayal here, shows of what you would expect to find in a ghost town or something, a broken door letting the dust build up inside, I guess no one has been in this place for years. Love the colors here you have used, they are soft and subtle yet contrast nicely. Very pretty

After seeing the beautiful job you did with creating 'The Dust' it compelled me to look at all of you works...they are nothing short of fabulous!!! I found myself coming back to this piece. The colors you achieved are brilliant. This piece invokes curiosity to know what is on the other side of the door.

Love this one. Neat and effective concept. Love the detail in the sand and the doorways leading you to the unhinged door. Angles you have, color you have, interest you have, think you could grab this one. Best of luck.

I remember that song very well! I like your interpretation of the words in this great piece with the door frames and the sand blown in.the bold colors make a statement and create a mood. Nice details.

One of my favorite songs. It kept me going when I was serving. Stationed in Southeast Asia I used to just close my eyes. Very nice work here. After all we are just dust in the wind. All we are is dust in the wind. Love the colors my friend. Awesome work of art.

we must have been serving arounf the same time huh? However they stuck me in places like ft sill, ft hood and white sands. in 77 my unit was in a c130 bound for cambodia for embassy rescue but we were only in the air for a couple hours before we turned around due to marines getting them out first. Ias listening to this when i started this project. Glad you enjoyed.

I like the depth, the feeling that you can actually walk through the doors. Nothing lasts forever and you get that feel here. You did good taking the colors back farther and farther. This has great color and feeling.
