This is interesting the way you took this one. I like all the color you see in the trees. I like the way the mountains look in the distance. I think this would have been better if you had cropped out most of the road. That would also have brought the rest of the picture up more.

I seem to be in a lose-lose situation! Some people like the road and some don't either way I chose half of the viewers who viewed it won't like it. I think what I like about the present view is knowing you don't have to go off the road to discover this wonderful view. You'll find something around every corner and say WOW! With that said I'm leaving it just the way it is. I respect your opinion VERY highly though! Thanks for sharing what you liked and didn't like about this image.

nice composition. i liek the layers of mountains in the background. i am not a fan of the road and guardrail in the foreground. they feel harsh and are a little distracting.

The sky is indeed a lovely blue, but your composition makes it all flow wonderfully. I like the sweeping view, and the way you started with the road..crisp and sharp front to back. Donkeyoatey

This is a good outdoor shot. The light is good. The colours are natural. But I would have preferred to show more of the sky and less or totally avoid the road especially for this contest.Overall it has been composed well. Good luck in the contest.

Indeed the blues of the mountains are fabulous. I like the gray of the highway and its placement, and the fall colours are great between the the main subjects. But I find the volume of the sky distracting especially as there are no clouds in it - some cropping would help.
