This is gorgeous blue vase. the reflections are hard to identify. i dont know about the shadow of the leafs either. i would work on the presentation also.

this image lacks interest however

Gorgeous shot. The refection in the vase looks like some in in hot orange shorts? Love the color of the vase as its one of my favorite colors. Technically well shot. Lighting is good.

I love the simplicity of this, yet when you read your artist notes, you realize just how much effort was put into it. I love the details - the shadow of the flowers, the subtle white flowers (presumably on the table cloth?) on the right, and the soft blue light cast on the white cloth. This also happens to be my very favorite shade of blue ;) I also think it was a very good choice to leave the vase off-center - I may have even had a little more space on the left, to adhere more to the rule of thirds. And I know you said your goal was minimal post-processing, so I won't hold this against you, but I may have also touched on the red rectangle shape that is reflected in the front of the vase - it is slightly distracting, but certainly not enough so that this isn't a beautiful photo, even if it's there! Just lovely.

You have captured the colour well but the image has been let sown by the central position of the vase. The flower in the background is a nice touch but the reflections of what seems to be your lights are a distraction. Mitch

Nice shot of this vase, Good entry for the contest. Not sure I like the background though, to me it pulls your eyes away from your main subject. But that is me and I may be wrong. Thanks for sharing.
