It IS texture..I LOVE different texturesin a shot, and you have that here..the smooth beak, the detailed and soft feathers and the liquid eye..all well shot and tack sharp. Donkeyoatey

Remarkable! I love the clarity of the eye and the colour of the beak. (she's a messy eater isn't she?) Lovely catch light in the eye and great texture in the feathers. They look like a woven carpet or fabric. Well focused with good DOF and nice background.
