Another great drawing with so much meaning. You should email it. I will never understand prejudices. How someone could think they are better than another because of their skin color. The expressions on the faces are great. The colors and details as always amazing.

Great storytelling in this drawing, sad that there was so much division and it still lingers.
Good detail in the eyes of the Caucasians, their intolerance and the face of the one in front and her determination.
Perhaps in the future this will be accepted at the museum or perhaps another one?
Well done.

Eisenhower! Alas I'm old enough to remember those days. Really exciting and scary times. Anyway, I think you captured the faces, determination and hate perfectly. Really good job. (P.S., I have been a little reluctant to review your work because I'm a photographer and really don't know much about art. It doesn't mean I don't like you stuff, I do!)

omg were even..i dont know a damn thing about photography and barley understand a puter to get by...but while viewing things like photography, i look for clarity(is it blurred whatever)..the angle of the shot(that makes or breaks the initial impact for the viewer) and the capture of the light(great shot can suck when its to dim).i tell them what i feel in my own words of the image..art aint much difference..heck u can even ask a question or 2 in these reviews..wink. just be urself..me i have to put on a mask then im my self..dont worry im in my own lil world here but thats ok....everyone knows me there..wink. thanks for the great review..come back anytime

Tremendous sharpie Mark with fantastic detail on their faces showing anger and fear. It is amazing how you can express yourself like this. You have truly captured a moment in time with this very historical event.

Thanks for the history lesson and reminder. Very well portrayed.Good for Elizabeth Eckford and the Little Rock Seven. You have captured what it must have been like for her that day as she staunchly marched on toward the school despite the heckling from behind. Colors are vivid. Well done.

Great tribute. Bright, bold colors representing a dark time. You have captured the tension in the air and hate on the faces of the crowd, in addition to the sad but brave facial expression of Elizabeth. Very well done.

I am so impressed with the range of topics and subjects you cover with your excellent work, Mark. From whimsical to serious, sports to politics, cynical to serious. All done with care, feeling and technical mastery. Well done on this fine history lesson. JAKE

WOW. I can see why it won! That look of determination on her face you have captured very well - even burning with silent fury, I would say - just awesome! I also love the textures you have captured in everyone's clothing and the feeling of movement. The colors are awesome - pastels - and I think you must have been going off a black and white pic? Excellent job here and I hope you do more like it! :)

Wonderful work of art and wonderful choice MK! I remember reading about these brave students, I think there may have been a movie about them too. You captured one day in their life with this drawing can't imagine how the other many days were like. Excellent work of art! Bravo!!
