This one jumped out at me. I love how all the fall colors were captured, and the perfect mirror image of the Heron. Wouldn't be the same if it were not for the log adding balance.

What a great capture of the Heron and the brilliant colors as they reflect off of the water. Very well exposed photograph. Stunning Willie and the fall colors reflecting in the water is a great idea for the contest! Had the same idea but with a duck! The heron is pin sharp and the reflection is like a mirror! Amazing vibrant fall colors and perfect framing! Best of luck in the contest!

This is a nice entry for the contest. The reflections of all the lovely autumn colors in the water is a perfect background for the blue heron. The piece of wood sticking out of the water adds interest. Your focus is nice and sharp and the use of light is good. Very nice and clear details in the bird. This is nicely composed with good balance and DOFF. Good luck with the contest.

I wish I could get that close to a blue heron! I love the autumn colors behind the heron. They are so brilliant that the heron almost gets lost.
The composition is very nice.

another great shot willie nicely centered with wonderful background colours excellent detail on the heron except i think the upper part of neck & head is slightly out of focus, nice composition & amusing in so far as it looks as though he's attacking an alligator.very good choice for the title keep up the good work

Great shot my friend the system will not let me give you a 6. Great shot my friend. The Birdman of FAR does it again. The colors are exceptional. Center of interest is this heron. Technically I cannot find anything wrong. Story is great and lighting is perfect.

Exccellent Willie. Another real winner. Beautiful Autumn colours & has an extreme vibrancy.
The clarity is fantastic & allows the heron to stand well out. Lovely contrasting. Well choosen settings & excellent compositing.
