Incredible macro!

Just a delightful image to look at.
I know how hard it is to get a good butterfly shot. They just don't know when to pose for the camera. But you definitely got a good one here.
The focus is just razor sharp.
All the elements of a dynamic piece of work.

It always amazes me how there are so many GREAT "Micro" shots out there,and this is definitely one of them!! Focus and exposure are dead on. I don't know if smaller f-stop (enough to pull that fare wing into full focus-but not the background)could have been achieved. I don't think it would have made much of a difference with this gorges picture.

It always amazes me how there are so many GREAT "Micro" shots out there,and this is definitely one of them!! Focus and exposure are dead on. How nice to see that you are doing butterflies as well. Your focus is nice and sharp on this one showing great details, and the use of light is good. The button bush flower looks lovely and I like how you have captured the sharpness also in the flower. The green blurry background is perfect. I also think the placement of the butterfly and flower within the frame works well together with the tight cropping. Very nice and natural colors. Nicely composed image with good balance and DOFF.

Nice close-up! Composition good. Following the look, seems to say 'go away, I'm busy'. Lighting good. Colors of the wings - yellow and brown are well balanced by the softer tone on the right and darker green on the left. Focus good. Contrast and sharpness good.
