Great capture through your car window of the heron. I like the light you caught here and the angle you got. Lighting and focus very good showing great detail in his markings. The blue water makes a perfect frame.

I would say you got what you deserved. What a neck on this guy. Very sharp focus. I like the way his eye is looking out over that long beak. Wonderful color! This is a very eye pleasing photograph. Very well done. I wish you the very best luck with the contest.

Great shot! Good detail and its nice to see the texture on the feathers. The only thing I would like to see is a shot of the whole bird.
