Oh Willie, this just stunning!! The falls colors reflected in the water are just gorgeous and the log and heron's legs also reflecting are truly beautiful. She is a beauty and captured her with excellence, your techs are perfect. Good luck in the contest, a winner for sure!!:)

Oh I am so glad I just got my new supply of 6's. This ajust perfect! Great framing, Wonderful focus, added to a excellant reflection of the fall colors. Only thing I don't like is that they don't give us anything higher than a 6.

This is a great photograph. The brilliant autumn colors reflected on the water is pretty incredible. I love the way the Heron stands out and the contrast between the elements is wonderful. The focus, the shadows, the texture, the composition all work beautifully together.

Willie,
A superb picture of the great Blue Heron standing in the beautiful waters coloured by the reflected colours of the trees in their Autumn glory around the bank. The perfect lighting making the Heron standing out in sharp 3D focus. All other camera techniques are superb.

This is a lovely photo of a heron, and I especially like the reflected autumn colors in the water as a background. The blue colors of the heron is such a nice contrast, and it is standing out in the most excellent way.
Your focus is spot on and very sharp showing clear and well defined details. I also think the soft light is lovely. It is also nice and clear reflections from both the bird, and the log sticking out of the water.
I also think this photo is well composed. The bird is well placed within the frame, and the log gives a nice balance. This is a well taken photo with a perfect DOFF.
