I think that you captured the lovely colors of the bird excellently. The colored part of the body and the feet stand out from the white and gray plumes of the tail and the wings. The dark eye and the reflection in it are especial interesting. I am impressed by your attention to realistic detail and color. Perspective and proportions are correct. The bird is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

It's lovely and has a wonderful feel and atmosphere to it-the bird is very well rendered-every study doesnt have to be a fully realized rendering-even with no supportive shadows or texture this bird is very well grounded-I would have loved to have seen this on a warmer toned paper-even study sketches can have value as "finished" works
