A great nature shot. Looks like something you would find on a greeting card. Great colors and detail. I like the poster edge filter as it looks like original artwork. Well done.

With the heavily posterized image with the addition of the line drawing effects, would say that the mixed media was a bit more than minor.
Good color with the pastel background and the bird in the brilliant cardinal red. Good composition, and the use of the posteration eliminated the messy background.

Good effect on this shot.
Very creative.
I like the bird's pose because it gives the sense of movement to the shot.
The dark branch adds interest to the overall work.

Hello there, the cardinal's position is an interesting one, he is red and dead center in the frame, the colors are too transform, they no longer look like a photograph, it looks more digital art, thank you for sharing, Don Fofo

Excellent, initially I thought it was a painting or drawing. The lines are nicely smudged and blended which allows the stark red of the subject to jump from the page. Thanks for sharing.

I love this picture. Initially I thought it was a pastel. The bird takes centre stage of course with his predominant red colour. You have cropped it well so that the bird and the branch he is perched on are clear. The branch with its thorns contrast with the soft muted tones of the background. Lovely picture!
