This is a lovely rendering. I appreciate the angle of the flower, the colors used against the pale sky and the beautiful leaves on the bud which go from reddish to green so perfectly. This gives us expectations of the flower that is coming, and making the viewer want to know more about these cacti. Very good rendering.

I like how you have presented this piece of art. It reminds me of two hands holding light and getting ready to set it free. Thank you very much for your kind review and input. Would you mine to specify what do you dislike on the lighting? The sky [Background] or the flower? To light or to dark? To much contrasting?

The flower looks too dark where maybe it would be lightest.

Oh, These dark parts are not the flower. The flower is just opening the white parts, mostly covered. are the petals, The green sepals cover almost the entire flower. I could lighten it; but I am unsure if I should do so because it would be against reality, The sepals and the stem are dark by nature exept if the light get them from the inside as on the sepals above closed to the flower. I will think more about that problem.
