Very nicely captured shot. I like the alignment and the contrast of the strong colors. Well focused showing great detail, right on down to those feather fuzzies on his bill. Nice head shot. Composition and use of thirds is good. The photo does jump out at you. Good sharp eye focus and no unnecessary clutter in the background. Good capture willie.

Consider this a cyber 6, because I don't have any of them in reality. But this is a great image, full of impact with the simplicity of composition, excellent focus (yours always are) and good contrasting colours used to best effect. What brand lens is your 70-300mm?
