You picked the right moment to make this picture of this lovely bird named blue haron.His eye and his look is amazing since you cought it in the middle of his blinking.You made a great composition with his orange eye,long beak and black feathers hanging over his curved neck and together with nice blue color of water in the background.Thanks for sharing this beautiful moment of this cute guy and I wish you all the best,

It's an incredible shot, the light is amazing and highlights all the amazing features on the great blue heron's face. I love the dark blue background, it really makes a great contrast. What an amazing eye.

An impressive image and a great capture. Lovely simple shape and great blue background. Nicely focused, with good light and colour. It is also made interesting my focusing in on the bird's head, rather than on the whole.

Nice job willie! Very clear on the bill and eyes. Here by me these guys are so dammed shy. It is difficult to get near them without them taking off. I like this, i also think it would be nice if you cropped down and we saw more of that long neck! :)

You gotta love one in a millions willie! That alone is worthy of a six star. The lighting and clarity are both very good. You just reminded me of my woodpecker with his tongue sticking out. I wonder when i'll find it.
