i really like this one. the shading and coloring is so intense and gives this strong feeling of foreboding seriousness. with the sun only just visible and the two birds flying away into the distance, i really like the feel :)

I have really enjoyed all thedifferent takes on this..all different, all really interesting, and seeing the different viewpoints for me, has been a lot of fun. Your painting has a more ominious feel than some, a more immediate storm. The colors, the sense of movement, and the birs, all make this really lovely. Donkeyoatey

a very atmospheric picture you have painted in this well composed scene annie, the detail is good as is depth & initial impact, i,m not sure wether it is a little too dark overall for my taste but that is a personal thing & others may find it fine for them, good technical work in creating this good work of art, well done
