I am so amazed by the beauty of your creation here. The background gives such a dramatic, romantic effect. The colors you have chosen are awe inspiring. The centering of this bird, and the branch is perfect. I love this.

Beautifully rendered, Cleo, as always, with a wonderfully done natural habitat setting. The bird is exquisite. I also appreciated your notes since I was not familiar with this bird. Enjoyed looking it up in my bird book too. Very well done, my friend. Ed.

really such a beautiful bird and with a great tail feature. we certainly don't see around the (grey) shores of the U.K. this is such an exotic species and showcases exactly why we need to keep the (lush) forests on this planet.

That's an interesting avian specimen,my friend!
And your colorful digitally created rendering of it is very enjoyable to look at!

Such nice painting Cleo, with beautiful details and splendid colors that bring us into tropical regions during winter season here. Wonderful composition and overall presentation.

This is a good composition.
The colors all compliment each other. I like the detail And, the background does not take away from the picture.
Also, interesting information
on the history.

When we were in both Belize, and in Guatemala, we kept looking for these birds in the jungle..heard a few, but never had thechance to see one. So I am VERY happy to see this! lovely colors and a nice secret feel. Donkeyoatey

    Thank you very much!
There are different species of Motmots, but it is very possible you have heard this guy. This species lives in the Yucatan, Belize and Guatemala.
