What a fabulous work of art Helvi, just amazing and the colors and the imagination that went into this work is breathtaking! Just magical and so unique in every way. From the filter to the addition of all the decorations just seem to have taken this image to the next level! AMAZING!

Wonderful ideas and how it all works together.
Like seeing both birds swinging from the mushroom, how their swings are plant stems, and how the stems wrap around the base of the mushroom stem.
like the definition of the mushroom..all the lines..the way the birds look like they are of a thicker texture..don't know how else to describe it, the glow of the mushroom and the effects around it that the filter creates.
great colors

This is so creative and so neat the way you have done it. I like the way you are looking up at the mushroom and see the birds swinging underneath. I like the way you have done the background too. A very creative picture.

A masterpiece of whimsical artistry. Just such bold color and striking blend of color which truly make this a winner in my opinion.

Creative piece of mixed media work. I love the colors and the effect of the fractalius filter. Great notes but I could not begin to do this. I do like the underside of mushrooms and often photograph them myself. Nice title. Well presented with good impact. Thanks for sharing.

Ha, awesome! This is really a great work of art - talk about something that was inspired by Alice! I love fiddling around mushroom shots - to me it has one of the vastest potentials for unlocking creativity, but I have yet to come up with something so creative! You make a good choice in shooting from below to show the frills, and an even better choice in using frac to bring them out! Love the atmosphere you created also, with the green frac creating a dreamy and sort of fantasy environment!
Of course what really sells me on this piece's creativity is the juxtaposition of a different style of art - the ivy and orchids. Not only does this seem more "Alice-esq" (the juxtaposition of the human versus the imaginative), but it makes it more "yours." And you've created a story all of your own, which can be interpreted in several different directions. I love that!
The one area I'm not totally sold on is the bright outer shell of the mushroom. I realize it gives the mushroom a "glowy" appearance but also, in my humble opinion, makes the whole artwork come across as somewhat "messy" in an otherwise awesomely controlled piece! Maybe try toning down the highlights while saving and possibly pushing the green glow around it?
Really great work, and definitely a source of inspiration. Thanks so much for sharing!

We know since Alice, that mushrooms are magical, but that mushroom here is the most magical I have seen so far. It is beautiful! I love, love these colors. The juxtaposition of the tropical birds and the mushroom is outstanding. The heat-vine is another outstanding idea! Best luck for the contest.
