It IS a nice effect.
There is still a bit of beauty in the flower.
Your lighting with the vignette and the dew drops and water, all go into creating a focus on the final days. It's poignant.

Always just a little bit sad when a favourite flower is about to die off, but at least you have good memories of it, particularly with this fine shot! Nice big frame filling composition presented here of a very beautiful flower. Your shot is very sharp and very well exposed providing us with lots of great detail and natural looking colours. Floral pieces aren't my thing but I had to stop and comment on this.

I love this image. I love the delicate droplets on the pedals, the reflection in the water on the table (or ???)...it all works really well.

The image is well lit, properly exposed, with great composition and focus.

For some reason this is not showing me a large image. However, I can still see that this is lovely. The contrast of the white petals on the golden tray is superb and the water droplets add that little extra touch to it.
