Very nice. I defiantly say this would pass smoke art. It is all the photographers interpretation. Great detail, lighting and contrast.

I love it ! I think you did an excellent job with the subject "smok". Just a small thing... I think you could have used ISO 100 since it looks like you have used the flash light. You can notice some "noise" in the green reflection you have in the gun. But it's a great work ! Congratulations and thank you for sharing :)

Thank you so very much! I used sunlight.

It's hard to have sunlight and "see" smoke. You've used a lot of sunlight. So... another reason and even stronger, to use a ISO 100 :))))

This to my mind is a much stronger image than "Smoke" It stands well away from the background and although the smoke is not the main subject it does help to tell the story. As for "Smoke Art" I am not sure. In the U.K. it usually refers to images made entirely from smoke from incense sticks. If you have the time to troll back through my portfolio "Lady in a mist" and "Mind Games" on pages 3 and 5 will give you an idea of what I mean. Mitch

I think it worked and looks just fine. Very creative idea!
Great shot with the black background and how the well placed lighting you have used, has had an iridescent affect on the pistol. Super clarity shows that the smoke is truly coming from inside the barrel and that this is a very nice Spanish manufactured pistol.
All the best to you for that contest - be sure to let us know how it goes!

I would call it smake art, and i like it... before reading the discription i thought you may have put an insence stick down th barrel, but the cigarette smoke looks great... also like the angle you chose for the light, great pic

First of all, this is smoke art if I say so. If you don't like it, I have one shot left in the barrel to show you! (only joking) Yes it sure is very Creative and clever at the same time. Extremely well done for sure. Now I know how you get so many bird shots!
You aim at them and tell them don't move till I get the shot. I rest my case. Great work as usual Willie. Thanks. Royal
