Willie, I can't thank you enough for the wonderful information you pass on with your work. This is truly so very beautiful and educational. You have a wonderful disposition with nature and it's wild life.
Sharing it in photo form and story is so very nice of you.
Great shot, thanks again. Royal

Another fine shot. I know where there is a colony of herons but can't get anywhere close enough to capture what you have. You caught the bird in a great maneuver. Composition nicely cropped, The blue sky just adds to the already nice shot.

What a great capture. The sky is a bueautiful color of blue. The mother? seems to be keeping watch over it's little ones. The lighting is great and the focus is great. Great technique.

Nice action capture Wille, I like how blue the sky is, nice framing with the tree branches and good wing action on our friend, well put together.

whoa, good timing there! I love the way momma's legs are outstretched for the landing. Nice and sharp.

The branches and the next form a sort of U that leads up to the bird.

This might also make a good b/w. My only reservation is that the sky is a bit boring and in b/w might be more so.

This is an amazing picture the way you took it. You were sure in the right place at the right time for this one. I like the ay you caught her coming in for a landing like this. That nest looks so big. Must be great to see the like this. They are such beautiful birds. If there were no sycamores, what would they nest in? An excellent and beautiful picture.

Thank you so very much! I don't know what other trees. This is my first time to see them on the nest! All of the nests are in sycamores. I don't see why there would be a difference.

Very nice shot. Lighting, focus, depth of field and composition are great. It looks like he's a bit big for that nest. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you so very much! They are still working on the nest. They should be laying eggs soon.
