Great catch, for the bird and the photographer. Wish it were a little lighter. Lost detail under the wings.

Love the posistion of the heron in this shot. I also like the angle you shot it from. I guess this goes to show when an opportunity shows up anything can make an opportunity out of it! Looks like this guy got a nice fish dinner. Great lighting and DOF in this shot!
