Congrats on making the mixed media of the month comp. Good creativity shown here. Like how you expanded on the bubbles theme, added them to the machine and around it. They are colourful and a little exotic, and it all works very well against the black background. Good luck in the contest.

What an unusual idea, would probably work as an visual pun. Of course, a Bubble-gum machine, it needs bubbles. I love how you created and colored these bubbles. The bubbles seem to be created inside the machine by the gum itself. Funny! Seems the are floating down to the point of escape. Once escaped they are illuminating a three dimensional appearing space. What an exquisite technique.

Hi Sandy, Yes I had an image with triple the gumball machines( No bubbles though) done with a fractalius filter. I thought I'd use one image for this posting and make it a bubble gum dispenser with BUBBLES. It was a lot of fun to do. Loved the pretty colors I could use for the bubbles. Glad you enjoyed. I'm SO glad to see you back here my friend, I've always loved your mixed media. Now your going to add paintings to the mix. WOW! Thank you for the lovely review my friend, from you it has a lot of meaning. Thought I'd let you know I got your email about "print your own book". I'm leaving today and won't be back till the end of the weekend, so I'll read it then. Hope to see some mountains ,waterfalls and rivers. I won't have a computer so I'll be out of touch. That machine is interesting with its solid white bottom, transparent middle showing the coils, more solid white(and the on-button), and then the transparent container with beads and bubbles.
Like how the machine is surrounded by bubbles of different sizes and colors.
like how we see spots of light and the black backround through the colored transparencies of the bubbles.
black backround is effective.
nice composition/good use of space/good balance.
good light.
good clarity.
enjoyed viewing.
