I like this but the water will usually reflect the sky, so it seems a bit out of place, I still think you could tone map or do something with it ever try just changing it all to BW then again the city seems bright and sunlit while the rest of the sky seems dark and foreboding...I see what you are trying to do, keep up the good work

I like that one much better. Looks better when the water touches the grass. I liked the sky in the other one, but these storm clouds are an excellent backdrop. Can you make the river a bit darker? I think that would look even angrier. [I think there is a tiny s;pot in the left corner unpainted. Put a bushel grass were the white spot is on the left.] Sorry to hear of your new illness. I hope you feel better soon!

Thanks sao much cleo and so sorry for taking so long to answer your review. I still have a lot of trouble with water, but thanks for the advice, I have since redone this piece and used your advice along with a few others and its amazing how much better one piece can be with just a few hints.
Thanks again Cleo for hanging in there with me.

Hope you are on the mend, understand motivation is everything. I think you did a fine job, the yellow and orange pop out and the clouds and water speak ominous equally well. I might have cropped the grass out of the picture but other than that, super.

Sorry it has taken so long to respond to your review, your words are far too kind and I have to a agree that grass just doesn't belong.
Guess I have to mention more often if I'm in the hospital or sick, it makes for the sympathy review LOL
