Nice subject matter. The gleam off the ocean is blowing out the middle of your image. This image makes me think of spring because of the green. I feel it would be more powerful as a summer image with a warm tint. Good work!

I appreciate how this photo has sort of a "retro look." Reading your notes, I suspect you are very creative. Your photo has some problems however. The center of focus (the buildings) are too far away. The over-exposed white out area is a challenge to accept. The balance between light and dark tones is off-kilter. If everything were in balance and then you added the filter, perhaps it would add interest. Don't give up-keep experimenting.
