this is a lovely shot the details are all there we can sees how the flower blooms, its lovely shades of purple and blue the way the petals curl and the shades it forecasts the stripes it has and the yellow that comes from it all this helps me as a painter. Thanks

I was taking pictures of irises this morning, and not one picture came close to this one.
Your angle is very nice, with the flower slightly leaning into the picture.
The clarity allows us to see all the details of the flower well.
like the exposure, which shows shadows and nice bright light.
lovely color, and like the inside yellow part, and patterns.

Filly, thanks so much for this cheerful and encouraging review. I shot so many until I got this one- the wind was blowing the flower around a little and I was afraid the sunlight on it was going to change before I got one decent one--thankfully I thought this would work:) Have a happy Easter.
