I really like this water colour a lot. Great choice of colors and lovely detail. I really pick up on the frustration of the young girl - the way you have posed her with her hand on her head like that. The older woman has defensive body language & that steely gaze. This is very clever and creative.

I see it Bertodi, I see it. The older woman green with envy at the youth of the girl who is trying her hardest to make the woman understand. The woman understands and maybe part of her doesn't, yet she laments at her inability to be part of the life of the young person.

A heated debate is going on will each understand the other, that is the question, the eternal question? Could be mother and daughter....daughter barefoot and free....mother bound by tradition those traditions hurting and she doesn't understand why...even her body language speaks to us of holding back not letting go not understanding, or does she?? The debate rages on...

I can hardly wait to see more of your coloured postings.
