May I ask how you did the wine pouring from the glass? Really love your creativity.

I used a plug in brush in Photoshop called "Real Smoke". To make it look more like wine I painted over some parts with the background color. This is the part from the opening of the glass and down to the splatter. In that area I used a "Blood Splatter" brush. The wine running through the glass was done with the Finger tool in Photoshop. With this I dragged the red color from the petal of the flower down to where the "Smoke Brush part" starts. As you understand the pouring was done in three operations. Hope I have explained this clear enough.

Sounds like so much work but well worth the effort to achieve these stunning results! The combination of two photo's works well here to give the image some amazing qualities and results. The red of the flower with the bloom in the glass, not sure how to describe the image but sure has a BANG quality! Stunning work Annie, but would not expect anything less from you!

There could be only one person I can think of who uses light the way God intended it to be. I will take my chances and assume it is you. ;) wink.. Where to begin? Firstly..CREATIVE.. The soft lighting and vignette are just heavenly. What a creative comp! Loving how you used two photos and merged them into a fabulous and interesting glass of flower red cabernet.Your use of light makes God smile. Great work here my friend!

I really like the look of this one! It is really neat to see! I do object to this being in this contest with traditional photography. To me this should be in a different class!
Very well done!
