What an awesome creation you have with this contest winner of yours. It is quite obvious why you won ..... because this is the best.
I just fell in love with this as I was viewing all the Recognized photos; therefore I had to stop and make a few comments. This is simply gorgeous and very creative in all aspects. I am so glad I stumbled upon it even though it is three years later.

This at first screamed digital art, but also a remarkable and quite marketable piece of Tattoo art. Suppose it's the thought of alice in wonderland and painting the roses red :)

Very clever editing has produced an unusual and creative image. I particularly like your use of the fractalius filter on this one and the limited use of color works very well to make the image pop off the screen. A great contest entry. Good luck!

This is very good. I like what you did and looks like it took some time. I like the firey effect. is that from fractalius?im not familiar with that filter but i like it. I also like how rose lookslike glass on the left side. Great job! sharp and clean. thanks, dave

Thank you very much for the lovely review and the generous rating. Yes it is from the fractalius filter. So nice to use, but you have to be careful not to make the effect too strong.

no problem, and yeah, filters need to be used with caution. I have to check it out. i like the effect and you did'nt overdo it here. dave :)
