Every time I see your name come up I know I'm going to see a superb bird shot, and this is no exception. Shot with perfection; focus, colour and light all good. Particularly liking the light on the water and around the bird's eye. This is worth more than 5 1/2 stars.

Great action shot. I like the flare of the wings in upbeat, and the colours are clear on the Heron. Only crit would be the slight 'fuzz' of the shot. Nicely captured.

Very nice composition. Good timing catching the bird in flight. Image is a bit dark losing some of the detail in the wings. I would like to see more detail of this bird.

Nice job. I like the calm water with some reflection it is calm and does not pull you eye away from the main subject. Would be interesting to see how it would look if you cropped it more on the bottom to get ride of the wood. And give it a fell of the bird flying into the photo. I do also like it as is. I just like to play around a lot with photos to get different effects.

Beautiful frame. I like your composition. Couple of suggestions though. I think the focus is just a tad soft. It needs to be very sharp on the bird. Also the reflections on the water are just a little distracting. You might want to try just a slightly different angle next time to avoid those.
