Oh, what a really nice sunset photo! Lots of colors happening here. We can still see some faint blues among the pale yellows and bright oranges. Love the dark clouds at the horizon, too, seeing more oranges way far away! Very nice photo!

Thank you, I appreciate your review. This is a sunrise, the announcement as such in my comments is not a mistake :-)

Beautiful sunrise scene which is sharp and has good exposure, but the horizon leans down to the right. Your image has good interest in all sections and nice enjoyable colours. Very good photo, well done!

Thank you. I had the feel myself that the horizon is mot even. My program says it is level already. Well must be the capacity of my eyes. I seem not to be able to find the horizon line. Somebody else tried to help, but send the back with the remark: the whole scenery seems an optical illusion and therefore not treatable. Now two other friends try their look. Wonder what that will come out of it.

Hope you can sort it out, but to me its still sloping!

I do not know. You are the first one who told me it tilts to the right. So I lifted the right by two degrees. I like it better against my own program telling me it is not level anymore. I think it is at least somewhat better than before. I have changed the post. If you don't mine have another look and tell me what you think.

Truly beautiful. It is so dramatic and fiery that it makes me wonder what Mother Nature was doing that morning. The clouds in the background remind me of smoke or explosions as if the world was on fire.

Thank you very much. Mother Nature was angry, she send some heavy thunderstorms later that day.

This is quite beautiful with the silhouettes of land and boat against the grey clouds and then the yellow rays of the sun at the bottom becoming pink as we look higher in to the blue sky.
good exposure and lovely colors.
nice cloud patterns, and texture from the water.
nice balance of water and sky.
good composition and perspective.

This is a great sunrise image. I love the various colors in the clouds. The only problem that I have with this image is that the horizon is not level. Thanks for sharing.

You have the same problem I have. I thought the sane thing and a couple other people too. I even send the picture to somebody else who thought it's easy but could level it better either. If the picture is blown up, and a line is drawn on the water where the horizon seem to be, I am getting a message from my program the line is even. Well I admit I do not see a clear horizon line.My eyes have far less capacity. The land is no help. It is a cape [hill going up] with the waves leaping up on it. The waves are small, only about two feet, but in fast movement, The cause that the boat is uneven in the water. The bow is up tipping the mast toward land. It is not a sailboat but a catamaran with a motor house and a cabin. I am out of option, I am even told it is an optical delusion and the horizons is to obscured by haze. I guess I cannot save that photo [as level others from the same day]. I am out of options, and so are a couple other people. Do you have any solutions, I will be happy to hear them. I hope you could find the sorcerer's stone here.

This is such a perfect shot it almost looks like an oil painting! but at the same time, it is natural and you caught it at the perfect time for the colouring to appear surreal but perfectly natural. i love the placement of the boat to the left. and the rolling waves...well done!

Thank you very much! It was really quite a show but somehow difficult to catch do to the wide range of light and the almost darkness in my location.
