Like the vivid red and yellow sky for back ground. The alluring reflection in the water is enchanting. The eagle with its lion body forms well depicted and centered in this brilliant work

Going mythological again. You are good with that. It's definitely the mythological creature combined from Eagle and Lion but with your very own touch. The wings are may a bit fuzzy; but well they are wings on motion. There is a bit strange dark reflection in front of the Griffins claws which dos not go along with the sky above and a blue vertical line in the water on the left border. Sorry I found something to nit-pick on; but it is minor and easy to fix.

i see what your talking about. the shadow is from the sky, it looked really off to me also but heres how i do water reflection, i duplicate the sky flip it upside down and opaque it, so the reflection matches, thats where the blue vertical line came from that i didn't catch, its where i didn't recrop it. which i just did and resubmitted it. thanks for those eagle eyes of yours, what would I do without you.
also those feathers, thats'my new feat to learning, you should have seen the first set of feathers it looked more like hair LOL
any suggestions would be helpful, on those also.
thanks again cleo your the best

I think I see what make it locking of. Did you work on the sky after flipping it for the water? The reflection left dos not match the sky. There is a strange almost vertical line in front of the claws between the light and the darker area. That line is not in the sky. I cannot find out from were it comes from. You have also waves coming somewhat from the right. I think these waves would distort a straight line slightly even when there would be one in the sky. I send an example.

Thanks for the notes on this. It elucidates what we're looking at.
Such an intersting combination of animal and bird.
Against the red/yellow sky, he has a dramatic presence.
I like everything about the picture, but my personal preference would be to have clarity on the wings. But it's artistic choice and the blurrier quality does blend with the rest of the picture.
LIke his shape, how he is placed in the picture, your choice of colors. the light.
This looks very well done to me.
