A very appealing and sensitive image of 2 dogs waiting for tea.well lit offers full features and coat colouring which makes the centre of attention.

I love the contrast between the bright green backdrop of lawn and the black and white dogs - it is interesting that there is only one bowl up for grabs - this creates a potential tension highlit by the expression on the larger dog's face. I like the shadows and the fact that the small dog's collar includes a touch of brown so that it is not all exactly the same. I cannot decide whether I like or don't like the cropping of the larger dog on the viewer's right but I like the balance in the positioning of the two heads. I just feel that the picture could have been slightly wider on the viewer's right.

there is no cropping involved i drew it that way. you have to remeber this is a 8x11 and i did not want to draw smaller doogs nor am i gonna do it bigger..my choice..so this is how i designed it..wanted it and im confused how photgraphers can take a pic of a crwod which will cut off some people due to the angle and so on..but that can be still veiwed as a good shot..but i draw a crowd the same way as photo and i get feedback on how i should have widen the pic or worked it out to have it all in the pic...i reckon thats a priviledge that photgraphers get to have that us traditional artist dont have that luxury....crazy world huh? glad that you have enjoyed some of this and do thanks for the reveiw.

The first thing that hits me when I look at the piece is the COLOUR. The composition itself succeeds to portray its title and is a strong piece. But above all, the cool green colour dominating the image is the most attractive part to me. This is one of those pieces that can calm down the environment of an entire setting.

Very cute picture. Think you did a good job for using markers on poster and you got the lighting right to give a real feeling. Thanks for sharing.

They are so neat the way you have drawn them. This would be a great welcoming committee. I like the small one the best. I like the way you have the shadow on the ground. I like the way the little one is sitting up. An excellent work of art.
