Hi Willie, Another great shot from you! I love Herons, we have quite a few near to us! This is a relaxing shot! Her colours work well against the green reflecting on the water. Crystal clear photograph, and a good subject. Thankyou, Gary.

I like the apparent intense look of concentration from then heron. I also find the small tuft of moss or grass on the old post or tree The color on the water is awesome. I wonder about the wing. I looks almost like it is injured. You have captured a nice photo.

Wow, wow, wow! this is a 6 star piece and some. I'm so sorry I haven't any left. This is outstanding wildlife photography Willie. I just love everything about it - focus, dof, composition, lighting. This is exceptional work. Amazing.

This is a beautifully composed image. The focus and colour are very well captured. I suggest that the white spots in the water be cloned out to improve the image. I enjoy seeing all that fine detail in the bird, etched against the deep green water. Lighting excellent.

Thank you so very much for a good review and high score! I think the white spots is from a cottonwood tree.

This is a fantastic capture of the heron. I was wondering why he was in disarray. Your notes explained it. It's great the way he manages to stay on top of the stump. The water background helped highlight the bird. Good composition, focus and detail. Well done. Thanks for sharing. Sam

He is just gorgeous, especially against the dark green water. Looking at your photos makes me want to throw all mine away. There is no comparison. LOl. Very nicely done.

Great work!! Excellent lighting no blur, and pin sharp. It is a wonder it kept its balance when he was shaking.

Thank you so very much! I have seen them on smaller perches than this. Balance is never a problem.

A lovely capture of this Blue Heron. The sharpness in the plumage and tree stump are outstanding. The green water so serine which gives a soft contrast to this piece.
