Now that is an amazing shot! The details are so sharp. Those feet are pretty interesting for sure! I like the eyes the best :) The colors of the background compliment each other well and allow the fly to really stand out. Good luck in the contest! :) Joan

Stunning shot! Your Macro shot with no use of macro lens is absolutely flawless and so is exposure and shutter speed. One can almost feel the hair on the fly's legs... Funny how 'non-macro' lenses can often produce better work than Macro ones...

This is a super close up of the head and upper body. Clean sharp focus and very fine details as is exhibited by the definition in the body hair. A well composed image with a wonderful color palette.

Very nice macro shot. Love the detail. He's placed nicely in the image. Colors and exposure is spot on. Lot's of impact in the way his legs are jetting forward as if to show your his fine manicure. Great job.
