This is incredible. Initial impact really grabs you and pulls you in. The details stand out not on the flower but also in the face and body of the Butterfly. The background is muted but the color combination really enhances the subject. I love the eye.
This is simply an excellent picture.

Willie, I see your doing a bit of Macro Photography. Great work as usual. Love this one, was not aware they are not very pretty close up?

Thank you so very much! I was laying on my belly to get this. The bottom is as shot. There is grass on the bottom. To flip it the flower don't look right.

What a truely stunnig close up shot of the sulphur butterfly. I love the composition and the depth of field. Superb detail captured with the butterfly right down to the tiny hairs on the face.

This is an awesome photo! The clarity, color, lighting and composition is spot on! The DOF isolates it as the center of attention. I love the fact that you can see all the little hairs on it so clear! Good job!

Interesting composition, however, it appears to be rather awkward visually. Believe that it would work better turned 90 degrees clockwise.
Nice sharpness, good color, interesting and eye catching subject, good soft and non distracting background in harmonious color.
Still find the composition awkward and the spot in the bottom left seems to be too eye catching and out of character with the balance of the image. Would suggest a crop just a bit over the spot, restores some balance and eliminates the spot.
Must say though that this is a unique and creative display.
