Your compositon here really drew me in. Love the use of diagonals from both directions, and the colors are simply lovely. Well done.

This is a great area a flower photographers paradise. Beautiful deep rich colors and a well filled frame of endless varieties. A well presented shot.

Thanks Brian, Nothing more fun than growing flowers and taking their pictures!! Maybe if my kids stood still, but not anymore.

I've heard of Lyme disease, very nasty. So glad you've got your health back. And a beautiful garden to enjoy. I like how you've shot this with those three sprays of pink flowers blooming out from the frame in a rather symetrical way. Gorgeous colours!

Thanks Michelle. Lyme is an East Coast disease, and yes, very nasty. Lots of good to show for it now. Thanks for the review.

How did you recover from the ticks? I like the space here, the way that you've organized your planting. The bleeding hearts are exceptional, many strands of them. I'm still growing them from cuttings of the original plant of my grandmother. Thanks goodness that you've taken back the land and good luck in the contest. Cyn.

Thank you Cyn, it was an ordeal to get well, all kinds of medication, physical therapy, acupuncture, gardening. Bleeding hearts respond very well to TLC and are quite prolific so your grandmother should live on quite a while!! Paula

This is a super entry for the contest Paula. Just lovely colours - I think that colour, particularly when combined with nature, can be incredibly healing.

Thanks Chrissie--yes, the colors are so beautiful!! How can you be in pain in the presence of such beauty!!

Great shot! The colors just pop against the luscious green grass. The focus is a little soft on some of the plants but it doesn't detract from the photo as a whole. Great picture and keep on healing with more beautiful pictures!
