Hunting for food is very much the essence of the wild. Crop a bit off the left to amplify the effect of this bird flying onto the stump. Really nice color work and great tech. specs make this a most viewable image. Thanks for the opportunity to review your work.

Photographs furnish evidence. Something we hear about, but doubt, seems proven when we are shown a photograph of it. I've never before seen a blue heron and this photograph looks so awesome in depicting the magnanimity of this bird. I love the evocative singularity of the bird in its flight against its plain nondestructive background. You froze the flight of the blue heron with a fish clumped into its beaks just before touchdown into eternity and beyond. Awesome, awesome composition.
