Thanks so much for your kind words. I used to think I looked like I did when I was 40 until I started taking these pictures and then I saw someone different than what's in my mind's eye.

This is beautiful. The dramatic lighting reveals the details which evoke the feeling of the title. But at the same time we see that these cares are spread across a face that is beautiful, which creates a natural sympathy, heightening the emotional impact. I like this a lot. I think it's brilliant.

I would have like to have seen your eyes. One would have been o.k. The highlight and shadow effect is nice. Just not enought light in the right places. Thanks for sharing.

Not to worry. I will do another one that will show my eyes. It was about being seen/unseen in my role. I didn't explain so well.

this should be called, "the lines of beauty" you have laugh lines and smile lines. I like how you can see your face, I like the shading. I do wish you could see your eyes a little better, I think they might be a tad too dark. but I think you should rename this

What a beautiful reaction--so caring. I was thinking about being seen/unseen in my role but didn't explain that. Next time the eyes have it!!

This is wonderful the way you took this one. I like the way you did it in black and white. I like the way you r face comes out of the darkness. I hope that the gym was a benefit and that some of the lines went away after going there. An excellent picture. Good luck in the contest.
