Really quite wonderful my friend. The colours are complimentary and very vibrant. The sensation that I feel looking at it is summertime. The ponch is great and I love the big yellow sun. Good luck in the contest my friend. Cyn

You are becoming quite the painter! I like the vibrant colors, and I like the stylized look of this. Sort of reminds me of a period piece from the 1950s, and thus, a collector's item! Donkeyoatey

Thank you for that review and the raining stars. It made my day. Do you see my little joke? I could not help myself but have adapted the double meanings words and arts have often down here as well as the style. I posted on Sunday, meaning it is weekend. Obviously he is having a Siesta, does he? Maybe he had a bit to much of that weekend celebration called tequila. That plant down there is a Blue Agave, the kind they make the tequila from. If he slice just a little deeper....what will happen? LOL, Cleo

Well..MOST people do NOT sleep leaning against a tree..Figured you were being a bit of a jokester! Donkeyoatey

Thank you for seeing it. I think it's a bit hard to see all the little hints for someone not living here ;-} Cleo

I am always very admirative of those who can realize digital art. This is very nice. It is soft and inviting. Colors are worm and blend harmoniously. Nice job.

This is a very colourful and cute painting. Love the sombrero and the coconuts in the tree. The colours are great, with the yellow sun. Cute painting.

A simple and effective way to paint a summertime activity!:)This guy seems to be having his siesta standing!:) looks very tall or the palm tree may be short!I like the bright primary colours of the tropics. Overall this is eye catching.

Thank you very much! You are right he is indeed standing. This is not unusual here. The Coconut palm is short, a young tree with only a few small fruits.

I like this a lot. The scene reminds me of scenes from plateware from the sixties, though I can't remember the name. composed well colorful. nicely done.

Thank you very much. I don't know about the plate ware. There were not much info about American culture in the east side of Germany. I came to Mexico in 1995 and visited the US first in 1997. We have traditional hand painted ceramic here in Mexico, including plate ware, which is called Calavera.

yw. i have one of the dishes. i am going to do a little investigation.

If it is original Calavera, it should be signed by the artist and numbered.

No he isn't sitting...jet! You are the first so far to realize the point. I adapted the double meaning we have in language and art down here. I could not help myself. Besides the obvious, there could be a other story. The plant is a Blue Agave, the kind they make the tequila from. Maybe he had a bit to much of that liquid. If hi slid down any farther...LOL

Really beautiful and expressive piece of art. Good portrayal of a Siesta and would like to have one myself. Love all the color and designs in his outfit and the angle of the hat is perfect. Good bright colorful background and the sun add interest. I like it.
