Great detail, excellent texture creation. I'm sure she loved it. I particularly like the way each subject in the picture is depicted as though they are either up front or in the back ground. Good mix of structure and live character. Again, I like your pencil creations MK.

i did this from an old photo 2x4. had to use a magnifine glass to get all the details. thanks for the great review

The monochrome works fabulous here. It has that time-gone-by-sepia feel. Nevertheless it is very much life in it. I like those face impressions. Mom has something mischievous and dad is looking to what she is up to. Once again I am amazed by your attention to detail and your patience to draw all those leaves and blades of grass.

there is something charming about this which is difficult to describe. Lots of texture in the pencil work gives it masses of interest as a whole and the attention to detail is superb. Excellent composition though it appears casual taking the eye round the picture. well done.
