Yep your right this is a ugly bug! I do like the color and love how you capture him waiting on his next meal! Question what will happen if he was to bite you? Great job on this picture and if they was they was to give out more stars I would give more then 5 stars!

You are absolutely right I would not like him to land on me let alone bite me.
I think you must have caught this little monster just about right.It seems to be correctly focused, a well balanced picture
If I have any criticism at all it is I am not to keen on the brightness of the background it seems to draw the eye away just a smidgen to much. Other than that I think it is great

Its legs look like electrical insulators, Great focus on the head and legs, As the light was from the left, Maybe a dodge on his right side.
