Very interesting use of Black and White but keeping the Red.
I'm not sure how you do that but the effect is excellent. I like it

Thank you! I am wanting to get the new Topaz adjust five. It has a single exposure HDR which is really good from what I've seen. It is only $49.00 and is a plug in for elements. Have you seen the program? Do you like it?

I haven't seen it but I will have a look at it and let you know. Bren

Well observed and clever conversion to add extra interest to the shot. It makes a very interesting image. Im a bit worried why you were looking at nail varnish - but I'm broad minded :-)

Very clever shifting to B/W.
Great overall Composition, the Red certainly catches the eye. As usual the Sharpness and focus could be no better.
Good luck in the contest and thanks for sharing it. Royal

Thank you so very much for a good review and high score! I have been on the fence about this one but have not been able to come up with anything better. In past red contest I entered male Cardinals but did not win so I thought I would try something different! I hope the judges like it too!

Good Morning Willi

I am not sure what to say about this one. I am curious how you took this one. It appears to be from directly overhead while shooting down.

Your colors are sharp and clear. In fact the whole image is sharp.

Anyway it is different and good luck in the contest.

Roger
