Beautiful capture of this heron. Great timing, your patience definitely paid off. Beautiful colors, focus and clarity. I love the way you captured one foot off the stump and one still on, almost looks like he's balancing. Great shot.

Great anticipation. You captured this bird in a split second that demonstrated strength and elegance. Trimming down the photo a bit more may put this to a six star rating but this is a very well done photo. Nice job.
